On 30 September 2010, the Full Bench of the High Court comprising of Justice S U Khan, Justice Sudhir Agarwal and Justice D V Sharma delivered the judgment that said that the Muslims, Hindus and the Nirmohi Akhara were joint holders of the disputed premises and allotted one third share to each. Also, Justic Khan said the portion below the central dome where at present the idol is kept in makeshift temple will be allotted to Hindus in final decree.
