16^th January 1950, a suit by Gopal Singh Visharad was instituted to not prevent him from being allowed to offer prayers from inner courtyard of the ‘main Janmabhhumi’ near the idols. An ad-interim order was issued that allowed performance of Puja and prevented the removal of the idols. (This happened over multiple court orders from 1950 to 1955)
